ok for the more experienced hackers, i need to split my hang em high map into maybe 2 or 3 rooms, i have the map as one whole room already but its laggy, i was wondering how i could do this?
also for the wizard map, how do i make it so that bond can go up the ladder instantaneously and down, like connecting the ladder tiles and the top floor tiles somehow, instead of having it as him going up a ladder? |

room editor? ok thanks, but does it have to be literally 2 separate rooms or can it be like a room is the first level, then the 2nd level is another room? is there a tutorial for this or a particular way of doing it?
where exactly is that, u mean in visual editor in room positions? and how do i split a whole floor into a room? |

You need to separate the indice drawing by g Room01, g Room02, etc. The lines are towards the bottom. |

newest update:
Multiplayer Map - Longest
This map was relatively easier than the last 2, but it's a shame all 3 look the same since Halo uses the same textures for most maps. Ill be attempting to pretty them up pretty soon, for now Im trying to lay the foundations. |

In the .obj file, there's a lot things like which indicate draw one triangle, per f.
f 1/1 2/3 4/5
f 8/1 7/3 6/5
To group them, you do things like:
g Room01
f 1/1 2/3 4/5
f 8/1 7/3 6/5
g Room 02
f 11/1 12/3 14/5
f 18/1 17/3 16/5 |

ok so i edit the .obj and thats it, it will be split up? because i attempted that what u said but it didnt do anything apparently when i opened it in ge editor |

This may be the problem Wreck said about ROMs in multi using Zoinkity's hit image fix all crash after 30 seconds in multi. I may need to pull that from the editor. |

well its laggy because its only one room, but after about 30 seconds the gameplay just freezes, no error or nothing weird. i only tried it in mupen64 though not pj64 yet, but it must be the rom anyways and thats where i wanna be playing it. |
