Yeah, they'll work, just remember the imported textures need to be 32x32. |

Don't other sizes also work, like 32x64 or 64x64? |

64 x 64 is too big, but 32 x 64 and 64 x 32 should. |

But did you import them? If you're just using the original GE textures it doesn't matter what size you use, except for some of the really oddly sized ones as Wreck and I discovered. |

Yeah GE built in ones can be 64 x 64. Just imported ones can't. |

When you create the textures.txt file, and you list them as
name_of_level_or_whatever_0.bmp
before each filename, you go into (in the GE editor) Tools>Image tools and find the preset of each texture used. Add each texture so it'd look like this:
011F name_of_level_or_whatever_0.bmp
I believe it improves overall quality?
BTW 011F is the preset of my favorite texture, grey bricks. They fit well in any level! Heh I have the preset memorized... |
