It's an incredibly handy tool, that has actually gotten me into clipping. It was way over my head before, but this - as well as your Stan Convert Current & Redo Clipping Connections - makes it very easy. Hell, I even did some expansions on a "secret" PD map conversion with it. I'd never have imagined doing that before, not even a few weeks ago. Hehe. Razz

There is a hidden feature, press cntl-G to move to a coord. Also there's a move room feature in room positions mode. To open the tile editor right click in clipping mode and Open Tile Dialog.

Something I noticed a while back, I may have reported it before but I don't remember. Open UsetupsevbZ, open the action block editor, and select action 1002, the editor will crash. Trying to export the action blocks to a text file will also cause it to crash.

I'd like to know why you can't see the whole map in Streets, and why the trees in Jungle doesn't show up. Maybe you've gone through this before, but I haven't read it.

Do you have 00 and 2710 objects turned on? Most of Streets is made up of 2710 objects, and the trees in Jungle are 00 objects. Both show fine for me:

Are you opening either of those two stages up as a newly created setup, or possibly making them barebones? Both of those routes would cause the maps to look different. All of the trees and plantlife in Jungle would disappear, as well as most of the buildings and roads in Streets. As DB pointed out, those are all object models, not actual architecture. If that's the case, try opening the official setups for the levels and see how they come out.

That did the trick. I've never actually tried investigating the open compressed/uncompressed options, so that may very well be the reason..

Action block 1001 in Surface 2 does the same thing.

Really? No one ever told me about that. I'll check into it.

Yeah, I also just noticed that Action Block #1002 in Bunker ii (UsetupsevbZ) causes the Editor to crash, as well. I was just going to check out how an object is used in it, but everytime I attempt to view the block, the program encounters an error.

Hopefully this information helps narrow it down...

In both instances (Surface ii #1001 and Bunker ii #1002), there is a "0A Single-Screen Monitor" with a "Black Solid Screen" used in them. When you activate the equipment in Surface ii, a man appears on the monitor. Also, when the GoldenEye is firing on Severnaya in Bunker ii, the main viewing screen turns on and goes red. Maybe a certain action is setup incorrectly and causing the Editor to crash? I think the root problem may be with changing monitor animations.

Hmm, that's possible, is there more than one action to change a monitor though? Several other stages, including some I've made, have monitors that change animations and those blocks don't cause the editor to crash.

Should be fixed now, grab beta editor. Was a mistake on my part, when displaying help strings for presets for emanane sound effect from preset. It should be in main editor as well soon, i'll form the installer too.

Nice, I'll have to regrab it.

Oh, by the way, Sub...
Would you be able to upload the current text files for the object models and character models in the Editor? I'd like to update them a little. Some are either incorrectly labelled, or lack specific details. Such as all the gun magazines. I'll re-upload and send you the link in a PM when I've modified it.
