I remember seeing a video I believe it was one of SubDrag's GS MOMENTS videos and he was playing Complex in 1 player mode full screen and all.

The original method, was to use an "Emptier" code. This removed everything from the level, loading only the player. That's the same formula we used for those old, empty multplayer maps made out of missions. Thankfully, Krijy found a way to swap setup files, allowing us to improve those stages drastically. But, anyways...
Load Complex 1-P...
8032332A 0001
8002B523 0001
Load Temple & Caves 1-P
8032331A 0001
8032332A 0001
8002B523 0001
Just choose the level in the multiplayer menu and start. I should also mention that you can only play the level once per load. You'll have to shut off your console or restart the ROM to play it agan. The codes must be on from the very beginning, or else the levels will crash. _________________

I believe that the PAL "Emptier" works on many more stages, too. It was kind of annoying for us NTSC hackers to see so many other maps being played in multiplayer on a PAL cartridge. Atleast everything evened itself out in the end. _________________

I believe that it does work on many more stages - I can't remember which ones off the top of my head. I know Complex and Temple load with this code.
I remember that too! Us hackers worked as a team from both PAL and NTSC regions to get these maps working!  |

These are quite nice.
Is it normal for some of the rooms to not load while walking through them?

I know Caves has two portals that don't seem to function correctly with the "Emptier" code in 1-Player mode. One stays closed at all times, while the other will only open while in near proximity. Temple and Complex shouldn't suffer from this issue, however. _________________
