Well, I noticed that there were only 11 unknown bitflags left in the editor, yet some of them are used all over in the main game.

Given that we are unsure about what many of these bitflags do, we could be missing out on a valuable tool that could, at the very least, cut down on action block use.

So, i am creating this page to allow the agglomeration of data concerning these unknown bitflags to allow the list to finally be completed.

Determined (will be removed when added to the editor):

04000000 00000000 (after cannot activate door): Guards ignore object. This allows them to shoot at you through glass, but they also try to run through it (as they totally ignore its existence), resulting in them getting stuck behind it while running. Shouldn't be a problem if the object can be destroyed easily/you are using sniper guards. This seems to work with all objects.

00000000 40000000 (deactivate special feature): This also causes linked doors to alternate the open/closed positions, like the ones in dam / facilities "gas leak containment doors".

Undetermined:

00000400 00000000: used on most doors in Aztec(only mainframe and that shutter door in the exhaust bay are exempt), and all doors in Egyptian. buildings and road blocks on streets. could it be align object to preset? I don’t know…

00010000 00000000:

00080000 00000000:

00400000 00000000: used on explosive triggers in Aztec exhaust bay.

00800000 00000000:

00000000 00000400:

00000000 00001000:

00000000 00020000:

00000000 00040000:

00000000 04000000:

Also, the "activate drone gun" bitflag is used on the connectors of the train floor plate. No idea what it does to them, though.

If you have any information regarding these bitflags or other functions of known ones, feel free to contribute.

i say you should try removing the drone gun bitflag on them and then play through the level and see if anything happens.

if not, then it's probably rubbish.
