Yeah, I think the only things that deactivate Egyptian's drone guns are the doors. The guns won't fire if they can't see Bond. Depending on the situation, you could always block your drone gun with an invisible object - it still prevents the drone gun from seeing Bond. Then when you want it to shoot Bond you just move it to another pad in some out-of-the-way area, PD-style, and bring it back when you want to deactivate the gun again. The only problem is it'll act like an invisible wall, so it can't be used everywhere.

That would not work then because then the Guard would never reach his destination and either would Bond Confused

The level is nearly finished but still some stuff need to be addressed and the biggest issue of them is the Guards not being able to see around corners/the railings.

I need some more tests to be done to see that i have done everything else right so far.

I need someone to help me decorate the level's second half and most of the first half since that job is really hard for me.

I dont think there is a way to fix that.

Guards are easy to pick off in my Decoy level thx to the railings.

well, you could always use the experimental method...


clip the areas you want them to shoot across, and block the "bullet clipping" off with invisible objects.

The main problem with this is that mines and grenades will land on the clipping, so use sparingly!




I've also noticed that rocket launcher guards can fire over clipping gaps, if you're able to get them to.

I have performed a self test and have found some things that should work to fix the drone guns by simply increasing the 27 preset size to the whole room.
Found a drone gun that used to not fire only fires when Bond is on the square where the preset is *Double Facepalm*

Also this here Spawn block seems to be going crazy and spawning tons of guards and causing the level to become impossible and slowing it down a lot
*strangely however, it did not freeze Shocked *

i think what you want to do is put a check in the front that inspects if there is more than however many spawned guards out, and if there isn't, spawn more guards.

It's what all original levels with an alarm do.

Edit:This block does not use the alarm first battalion uses the Objective set bits but unsure what i can use for this one

i think there's something like:

"check if guard ID is alive/active/etc"


have it spawn 5 guards with I.D.s that you can check in the start of the action block.


have something like:
00
if guard I.D. 1 is active, return value loop to 01
if guard I.D. 2 is active, return value loop to 02
if guard I.D. 3 is active, return value loop to 03
if guard I.D. 4 is active, return value loop to 04
if guard I.D. 5 is active, return value loop to 05
01
spawn gaurd I.D. 1 here
go to top
02
spawn gaurd I.D. 2 here
go to top

All guards do not have ID's they are just the final assualt guards

I do not wish to give them ids because that would lead to each one having seperate action blocks. Plus they are not needed to respawn plus i think i fixed the problem that i was having
