I was just curious - why is it that every once in a while, a portal will only work if rooms are assigned to it in one order but not the other? It doesn't seem to happen very often, but every once in a while I get a stubborn portal that doesn't work in-game so I go into the editor and reverse the room order and then it works fine. |

i get that too, on limbo it affected almost every portal O_o
and yet on enigma it only affected around 3 (out of 80 or so)
i also get a peculiar glitch that occurs when certain portals are viewed from other ones. It causes them to black out unless you are only viewing a low amount of portals. Quite enigmatic.
These portals are quite mysterious. I've also come to the conclusion that portals use more processing power than we think, as certain rooms in enigma with a low amount of polys but many portals seem to run worse than higher poly rooms. |
