If a open my new rom:
the big file is not .sev but .seg
clipping file is p_stanZ
Text file LseV is deactivated I can`t reactive it by importing my text.
Those files only have not the same endings!!! |

Ok change it so it will match it all.
If you can't not find the same settings that i list.
Then try to find a new rom.
Then re edit to see if that will fix your problem.
And remember if you do need a new rom make sher you check the 21990 sttings agan to see if they match.

No, it does not match. I use bunker 1 for 1, bunker 2 and 3 for the second.

You need to make it match to make it start that must be the reson why it is not working.
The text is fine.
But make every thing else match ok.
Don't change it to like bunker 2 and stuff thats why it must be frezzing and even if you can here music it mean it still mess up try to make it all match all the settings ok. _________________ There totally nothing to read here. |

.sev file instead of .seg is not available to to find and select. p_stanZ is the same case.
it is different from each person and in the modifications, I made save file and once the level is open in the editor, i cannot change anything about the name of the level. Maybe I do not save uncompressed as usually.
I will create new rooms like the same I have if I can`t make it match correctly. Then I will go to the modification to see if it is in the right level or else I will change it and save uncompressed file.
The settings in convert mode if I really need to adjust that I do not understand anything. Usually I do not go there. Just wanna know if it is necessary. Last time I went there I had trouble to save my roms and I had to delete the GE and the PG64 and download them again.
The fact it is always with Usetupsev.bunkerZ.bin that the saving works. I guess it is only for one bunker. Maybe that`s the problem!
Now I`ve lost my roms because it opens with anything file like runway(bunker2).
I`m sure it is the converting mod section.
I just opened my rom named bunker 3 and went to preferences:
Quick Covert(F5): Z.bin file was different from the level!
Trying to select the right...

I have just opened UsetupsevbunkerZ in the emulator list and I have seen one of my first modification on the bunker 1 . It has 2 new doors,
I had a surprised when I converted, my level did work!!!!!
But the bunker 1 with only the 2 new doors!!!
I think I`ve modified the real bin files
I have 2 UsetupsevbunkerZ, one for bunker 1 and the second for bunker 2.
I opened each one and I saw the difference.
I`m gonna convert the second to see...
usetupsevbunkerZ(bunker2) is the first bunker and do not work if I open the second bunker with the new rom on PG64. The bunker 1 is the original bunker of the original goldeneye rom.
UsetupsevZ.bin(bunker2) is also the first bunker and the same case with the last one.
OH fudge, I am confused and made people confused too |

Did you send me the rom instead of the level? Becus the file size is like way to big lol.
All i ask for was the level.
You know the level that you open in the editor.
Just send that to me no patch and no rom just the level so i can edit and find out your problem.

The problem is situated in the GE files somewhere. Something that is not set correctly. In this situation, you cannot say you only need the level.
Open new levels and you will see bunker making and maybe runway making. I made a bunker 1 and bunker 2 level and their own text that I cannot add to the GE to make talk the characters. When Bond go see those characters either two are supposed to talk and they do not.
I thought you needed to see if the GE is ok. For the patch, there are many and I do not know exactly how they works. I tested one of them bond ips and no changing. |

I noticed something. When I tried some new levels people have made, the dam level did the same thing. It did not load because I had to apply an ips patch. I think it is that problem. I can make it but I need an ips patch to play with.
How do you create guys your own ips patch using your new level?
I tried to create an ips patch using generate ips patch. The original rom is flipped and I made byteflip Rom and the editor said it is not a glodeneye rom.
I cannot see using check flipping rom. Not capable to unflip it to make an ips patch. |

Im sorry for a late reply on your level jim.
I been very bisy and well i had not a chants to even unzip your level lol.
But i can say that i hope i can make some free time to check out your problem soon.
And making a patch is very easy all you need is a Goldeney rom that has never been edit and a Goldeneye rom wiht your level in it.
Then just do the patch setup and click on your goldeneye rom the one that is not edit and then click the goldeneye with your level in it.
Then name your new patch and put it somewhere on your computer and your set. _________________ There totally nothing to read here. |

Not capable to play a perfect dark level. Solo start point made and nothing works. My computer is a vista laptop. I guess it is the problem!
Need a desk computer.
Later in the evening...
On my way I tried to make 2 new perfect dark levels. M.R.Blonde revenge and Maian S.O.S.
I just insered few characters but mostly 1 or 2. I tried a skedar to make him friendly with M.R.Blonde in his revenge mission. Then I tried to apply an ips patch I`ve created.
Most of case, the editor says me warning checksum calculate. I go see if my rom is unflipped. I try check flipping rom and the editor says: Not a goldeneye rom?
The PJ64 does not show the normal rom because it ignores it for a reason I do not know. So I loose my original rom. Now I have a copy in a folder with also the perfect dark original copy.
In the goldeneye vault, I applied an ips patch on a level and I had an orignial rom that pj64 said Bad rom use GoodN64. The level worked and I solved my black screen problem.
I tried also so many many times using GoodN64 application and made enter until the window disappears. That is not useful.
I tried to not put skedar in the levels and nothing worked. The thing I see when I open the level is the objectives. As I saw, whatever the level you modify, you DO NOT SEE THE OBJECTIVES! After that, the watch of Joanna disappear and it is the same screen while 5 or 6 seconds and it finish with a black screen.
I have tried to see Briefing Editor but it said the objectives are a part of the setup so do not need to use that like Goldeneye. So I modified in edit objectives section either PD Objectives:
PD Objective 1 1A conditional True data:00001000 (chosen value for data)
4A00[Background ...
Agent 1A conditional True
Stage Title: 4A01 LUCERNE TOWER*
Perfect Agent Briefing: 4A06 Eliminate dataDyne captain*
Special Agent Briefing: 4A05 Plant explosive device in lab lift*
Agent Briefing: 4A04 Locate and escort Cassandra to helipad*
I have 3 objectives and one with data :00001000,second with 00001001 and third with 00001002.
The first with agent checked, second with special agent checked and the last with perfect dark agent and perfect agent checked. They are all conditional 1A true.
Yet, I do not see the objectives during the play and see if it solves my problem.
For goldeneye, I see the objectives but If I modify something if the briefing editor, I will not see the changes.
READ WHAT I WROTE AND DO NOT FORGET MY DETAILS, IT IS CRUCIAL!

Sorry for the long wait.
But it seems you have send me the Goldeneye editor.
And in order for me to even find out how to fix your problem ill need both the level and the Goldeneye rom thta has your level in it ok.
And the Goldeneye editor you send is the old one you sud go and update it so you wont have problem ok.
And the next thing you sud of made a new topic so other will not get mix up with the 2 other problem.
