You know iv always wanted to do this but its totally out of my power.
We all know that door in Runway thats just a wall texture and that it can not be open.Well I kid you not since I heard about the editor and people making new CUSTOM levels i always thought id be awsome to make a level that would take place in that door or wall texture of Runway.
Also since I thought about this iv had like maybe 3 dreams about it.Looks great.There was a Drone gun there just I don't know.
As I said im clearly unable to do it cause I don't know of making a custom map.
What do you guys think of this??

All that's supposed to be there is a room the connects Runway to the Facility, although it'd still be nice to connect the two together. Wink

I once had a dream where I went through the door behind Alec & Xenia in Train & it led to an alternate stage end where Bond takes the helicopter.

Then we did it for real, using a rocket launcher, causing Trevelyan & Xenia's bodies to fall in the way of the gate, keeping it from closing Smile No helicopter, but an interesting room nonetheless. Razz

I do remember someone saying they were making a map of the interior of Runway. (bmw?)

I've always been curious to what's behind that door

I always wondered what was behind that door until I learned in these forums (or another website, whatever) that it wasn't a door at all.
I thought it could be a small warehouse to store gun machine ammo.

Also, I saw BMW's Runway Mod Preview but he was focusing on other area instead of the misterious door. The project is old so maybe he did something else.

The issue with GE:X Runway, is that it will be tank-free. Instead, you'll be using the motorbike. This does present one problem, however. You won't have the ability to fire missiles at the heavy gun emplacements. The easy fix is to include a rocket launcher and some ammunition. The best place for it? Inside of a small new area behind the fake door half-way down the service runway. You could stick it anywhere, really. But, utilizing this space would not only give GE:X the new experience we're striving for, it would also excite veteran gamers who have wanted to open that door and step into a mysterious new area for so long.

As Sogun stated your thinking of something else. Im saying the brown electronic door. I did see the roof tops I guess it is bmw did,but i saw that waaaaaaaay back. Wreck you say a launcher?? Theres plenty of mines in the level and also in PD the range of throwing mines is farther then GE.
But just that door being a small room really wouldent satisfy me.
My brain been haching this idea since I said since the editor was made.
Id be cool if someone could make the environment then make a level.

I like the idea for GE-X, to put the false door now accessible. Now I wonder how the bike will be adapted to GE-X, should run well and is still active in the anti-gravity as PD?. There is not much knowledge about the portability of the tank to PD. therefore I would ask if it would be possible to alter the speed of the PD bike to get the speed of the tank, even if it could have fit a fixed gun in a vehicle (for example I thought of a Slayer camouflaged with textures) I imagine it is not possible to give the ability to run over enemies like GE, besides not being able to individually turn cabinadel tank along with the cannon. but if the 2 things I have told above may be possible to get a tank as close to the GE.

Yes, there are timed mines available in Runway. But, if you really think you'll be able to get close enough to those gun turrets at the end of the runway without being completely obliterated by them, you're going to have one hell of a time using those mines.

Remember...
PD doesn't have a "moment of invulnerability" after you've taken damage. If a drone gun locks onto you, there is a very good chance you won't survive it.

Yeah true I forgot. But Jedi said connect dam with Runway was it? It already is with that blocked part near the tank.

Hmm that would be interesting to connect that door to dam and runway or Facility and runway. And make it into a real door.

I used to think it would be able to open too, I never knew it was a fake door.

There is also a room limit that you can't exceed. Even if you could stick two of the maps together, there is a very good chance that you'll blow past the total memory allocated for the textures. You might get lucky, or you may have to remove certain objects to make room for level images. Either way, it is a lot of work, and the outcome may be problematic.

This might make it more retarded I guess I don't know but maybe you could expand the rooms making some into one. I know what you mean Wreck. Considering how big Dam is would make it hard and a pain to work with.
