My Runway mods that I worked on were considerably more expansive than anything I released to the public via screenshots and video. I have modded the areas you guys are asking about but due to the remote possibility that I still may someday finish my mission, I will continue to keep those mods secret Wink

What we did get to see looked really promising, so it'd be a real disappointment (and a disservice to yourself) to not finish it up and release it to the public.

Here's a primitive sneak peek at the brick building/vent interior. Far from complete (for instance, there's a window at the very top which overlooks the runway) and you'll notice that some of the surrounding rooms are less finished here than in other stuff I've posted before, but it'll give you a general idea. I think I may have posted several screenshots of this before.

My heart rose in fear. Why you you may ask. It looked Veryverysimilar to the dream I had. Yes well other then that moment of freakyness it looks great. I wounder if its a solo mission guards would have a hard time shooting and seeing you. You know the way they were made.

I just tried to connect them. Well if you see there are many mistakes/erros, however it´s called. I have again the problem with the textures that deled not support. I have to search for a tool that can convert MULTIPLE IMAGES to 24 bit.

DF Ank1 that's a very nice concept!

In the past I thought Dam and Runway should be connected that way, but if you think more carefully you'll remember the Facility is actually at the bottom of the Dam. Then, Runway is way lower than in your pics; and I can imagine a new custom area, probably a road winding through the mountains, that conects these two areas.

Mmmm, you can even have Dam, Facility and Runway in one package! I wonder if GE could manage such a level, but I'm sure PD can (if it was able to handle Area 51...).

Another cool connection would be Surface and Bunker. I wonder if the hatch matches.

Yeah. i am wondering that too. Look now what i did. now with textures (runway textures are problems i don´t know why) ^^

Overview of all3 "connected" levels

Zoom at the bottom of the Dam and the Beginning of Facility

But i have THE IDEA ! Bond climbed 200 METERS UP xD

ALSO A COOL IDEA : EXTENDED TRAIN (just a fast copy and paste of some parts of the train)

DF Ank1, You should try rotating the Facility by maybe 180 degrees, but keep the vents in the same place.

DF Ank1,

That's pretty much how I pictured all three levels together, except for how Runway is placed.

Dam and Facility are linked through the vents. You have 4 options to place Facility as the vent is squared. I think you chose the right direction (the long dimension of the Facility heading to where Runway is supposed to be). The Facility seems to be mostly underground and it wouldn't be odd if part of it was built together with the Dam (if that makes any sense, I don't know if I'm explaining myself).

In order to join Facility and Runway you should do it through the double doors at the end of the Facility. Perhaps these doors don't match or the inside and outside of the Facility don't match either; if so, bad luck, some changes should be done.

After that, you the void spaces should be filled with lots of mountains and probably a road linking Dam with Runway as I sayd before.

Yeah, hehe. Cool It was a perfect match for Spain against the strongest rival. Unfortunately there're a lot of things in my head right now, so I can't celebrate.

I have already pulled that one off in my Bottling Room MP map - I connected part of the runway to the Bottling Room, both to the convener area and the double doors.

I'm pretty sure I've tried playing around with joining Surface and Bunker, and that ventilation tower doesn't match up. I think it is actually pretty far off.

They match up perfectly. They train being connected to Jungle and Depot would be more difficult because on Depot the train is scaled smaller.

You'd have to truncate the dam level as its just too big. Anything that sticks out the bottom is visible in the sky when you're up the top! It would be cool to start the facility level by burning through the grate and hopping down into it (or finish the dam in the same fashion). My enigmas were always on the dam
Level and a few on the frigate Smile

OK DK i tried it. There isn´t a way to rotate that perfectl. The facility would come out at the bottom of the Dam. I played it right. But it doesnt match because the bottling room is so far away as you see.

I also tried that. It doesnt match any way. But there is also many space between the ventilation entering. But i think that is not that difficult to connect them. Maybe just ad some rooms in the bunker. i´ll check this out when i come from work today.
