 |
|
Here are the four preset maps for the Facility.
They've been split down the middle. Two are in the first half, while the other two are in the back half. These areas have been dubbed the 'frontzone' and 'backzone' of the stage. Map A contains the Basic presets, which can be used by most objects. Map B indicates the Advanced presets, which are mainly used by doors and glass, as well as other stage specific items that needed to be resized accordingly. These should pretty much explain themselves. You can only assign respawns to Basic presets, since the extra information featured in the Advanced type causes it to crash. The values in red are only for doors. Doors use the same Advanced values, but need to be read as a Basic. You simply subtract '2710' from the preset to place a door properly. Strange, but you get used of it. Anything can be set to a Basic without losing it's shape. However, since Advanced has sizing data included, there will occasionally be some distortion. It's good to test it out first, just to be safe. It may be half way in the ground, or even floating when you come across it. Good luck and have fun.

SWEET! Now I can update my own preset map, looks like I figured out most of them, but I was missing a few.
Your map is missing some too. Your presets end at 0136, I actually found some even higher. For Instance, 0149 appears in the lower level of the bottling area. I know I also found some in the 015x range.
If you want I can update your maps when I get around to it to include these higher presets. |

The extra presets you are referring to are actually Advanced, but with a Basic offset. Technically, the Basic list ends on '0137', which is the first blanked out preset. Immediately afterwards, on what would be '0138', the Advanced begin.
Here is a good example...
Set an item to '2710' and you'll find it inbetween the first two bottling tanks.
Set the same item to '0138' and it'll be put in the exact same position.
Not all of these will work, however. The Advanced type contains more data than the Basic, explaining why they don't always load. Since they need to be offset to the correct information, most often they will land on the wrong part of the preset. So, after using the calculator to figure out which Advanced could be read by a Basic value, you could use one as a spawn point. Odds are, it won't be one you like.
Basic lands correctly on an Advanced every seventeenth preset.
Advanced may be read as a Basic every eleventh preset.
Simply add the hexidecimal value '11' onto '0138' and continue onward.
(*note: I didn't test all of these)
'0138', '0149', '015A', '016B', '017C', '018D', '019E', '01AF', '01C0', '01D1', '01E2', '01F3', '0204'
'2710', '271B', '2726', '2731', '273C', '2747', '2752', '275D', '2768', '2773', '277E', '2789', '2794'
Interesting, though.
Thanks for pointing that out to me. |
