I have already spoke about this to many of my friends and I have done research. Honestly surprised it has not been done yet. I want to convert most of the The World Is Not Enough(TWINE) to mp maps. I know some may not work to well with GE. Such as Sky Rail and hidden volcano. After I convert those level I'd like to make them into a solo mission for GE as well.
Now the only problem I have is I do not know how to get the maps for TWINE to convert them to GE. How and were can I convert the maps?
Also if anyone wants to help out PM me or let me know.
Those maps from TWINE are very well made. It would be an awesome sight to see and play them in GE. _________________ www.youtube.com/gamerrey23 |

As SubDrag said in this forum a little bit ago, if it's an object, it can be put into GE/PD. I just used Zoinkity's TWINE level extraction tools for the first time to see if it would properly extract the level geometry and textures, and it looks to be fully functioning.
Each object is a seperate room, so the only difficulty you'd have would be aligning the rooms together, as well as applying proper scaling. Here are some screens of 'Courier', the first level:

There are no textures because DeleD doesn't like the 4bit and I didn't want to take the time to go through all of them and make 24bit. I can build an application later that can cycle through a file list of textures and automatically do it. With the consent of Zoink, I can release his files, and I've already built a GUI version that utilizes the command line to make things a bit more user-friendly. _________________

They should all be from the solo part of the map, I ripped the single player level. Multiplayer levels are also available. _________________

A nice combination of Courier and Merchant (the MP version) could make for a great multiplayer level in Perfect Dark. I'd definitely like to have it in GoldenEye X, that's for sure. It would even have working elevators, too. So if it ever gets done for GE007 and it turns out nicely, I'd be willing to convert it over to PD / GEX. _________________

Please convert the maps to Perfect Dark, as well as (or instead of) Goldeneye, as some of us (including me ) usually can't get friends to play on the N64 any more, so we can't play multiplayer Goldeneye, but in Perfect Dark we can play against the bots, which is fantastic.
Also, the Forest is my favourite map in The World is Not Enough (I really don't like some of the maps, but Forest is really atmospheric), so please consider bringing that map to Perfect Dark.

I'd like to see these maps in multiplayer TWINE GE and PD, although I prefer to see in multiplayer version of these maps solitario.la solo version of these maps seems more complete than in its multiplayer version , besides these maps are not that big even in the multiplayer version, a good example of this may be the MI6 that is bigger than your version MP, Courier is yet another example that you can make a multiplayer level only taking away furniture to the solo version.
Wreck and you speak to incorporate some levels TWINE to GEX, I would like you could see if you can carry any weapon to GEX TWINE (especially in person), I would like to suggest to start with first weapons with functions, animations and mechanisms in PD, eg WalterPPK or Raptor are similar to weapons like the PP7 or Dostovei, also some weapons have primary or secondary TWINE existing PD functions. |
