Any time I attempt to open a project it crashes the visual editor but I can still work on ordinary Goldeneye levels using it. Does anybody know of a way to fix this?

| Are you running in XP SP3 compatibility mode, and as admin? And have a recent beta version downloaded that you're using. |

I have it running as an admin but I am unsure about the XP SP3 compatibility as I am running Windows 8.
Edit|: Set it to run in XP SP3 compatibility and this time it crashed as soon as I selected to run the project.

| Is the ROM you picked valid? I think sometimes that's happened if the ROM is bad or doesn't match. |

I think the rom may have been bad I am not too sure, I copied the rom I use normally into that folder would that mean I need to re-run the pdlevelinstaller?

| Oh you're using the PD level installer? Hmm I haven't tried that in a long time. I would've thought work though, but I better check. |

It is ok you were right about the bad rom re-ran it under my new rom and it loaded up the project perfectly thanks.
Yes I used it as a base to add something to the level.ini file
