That hi-res head is awsome... it cant possibly be a 32x64 texture?
You even modeled some hair...
I think if a swarm of these guys came it would drag the game down... why dont you try it on consol?

Thanks guys.
Well, it is 32x64. Thanks photoshop's reduction algorithm lol
The hair is very basic, you can count polys almost with your hands. I had to set the hair from the side to show both side for them to look decent.
I've try on console, don't worry about it, it has to run on console ^^
And it does. Actually it's a bit lower poly that the head "winner" from rare, which is meant for multiplayer.
It's my second one that goes over 200 polys and I don't see particular framedrops even when those 2 fight alongside against me.
It's the same polycount than main characters actually, so in my opinion, I'm inside what the engine is expected to handle, according to the developers.
I've put them in the "team only" set of head and did quite a lot test.
With the setting of LOD, I think you don't often have that much gards with high quality displayed at the same time. |

Look at the bottom of the first page of this topic. I've posted a picture with this "winner" face. It's a black girl face, multi only char. Her ear are nicely modelised. |

WOW lol . I wonder what was the cause for different Bond face only for Aztec+Egypt if I recall rightly
Just as Dragons' avatar , cunning and perfect . The Bond face used for most of the game very crappy in my opinion 0.o _________________

I wonder if you could improve some of the GE main character heads.
There's this amazing blog called GoldenEye Decoded where they have some hi-res pictures from which the GE textures were made.
|
I'm trying but I can't. I don't have the photoshop skill to create the texture for it. There's way too much differences of lightning between the side and face picture.
If someone can make the "jointed" texture in HD then I can resize it.
Otherwise at the moment I'm giving up on Trev. I can't do anything if picture where not taken in a studio or decent setup. |

I've been dipping my toes at replacing head textures aswell trying it out with Hulk hogan and Bill cosby and others and it worked pretty well
Going through the face textures though i cant seem to find the right side face texture for the head Grant in GE:X hopefully you could point me in the right direction AL64 |

Haha, nice work. Interesting choice of characters. I could make the obvious jokes, but we'll leave them to the imagination.
If I remember later, I will see which textures Grant uses. |

What I do when modding GE:X heads, is to open model editor and browse them all until I find the one I'm looking for. It's tedious but oh well, it's like that.
Could look for it tomorrow on my PC if you still can't find him. |

According to my notes, these are the images that the Grant head uses in GE-X...
0D93
0D94
0D95
If any issues, I can look into it better. |
