I've always wondered that, every day I asked myself if I would allow myself to add new levels of different mods (for example: Cliff Base, GE Mirror Mode, Island, Garden, among others) and create a new mission with each level, but I was not sure if that was allowed, I wondered if ... it was legal or illegal to add new levels of other different mods of different authors and creators, and in turn create my own missions with their levels ...
(obviously I would have to accredit them for creating those levels)

I'm sure many of us would be fine with you borrowing a level from one of our previous releases, so long as you ask the person about it first, you credit them for their work, and you make enough changes to the mission setup to justify your doing so.
If you, or anyone else for that matter, wants to create a new mission using something from the mirror mode mod I put out back in August, I have no issues with it. All I ask is you say in your notes that the level was taken from Wreck's mirror mode, which can be downloaded on the GoldenEye Vault website. |
