Hi guys, I haven't stopped by in a while but here I am. I am in the planning phase of my next tournament I will be hosting and I wanted to create a magnums only weapon set for it. Subdrag and Wreck told me a while ago that the best way to do this is within the editor using 21990 modification tool. Everytime I go near it, I get errors. If anyone would be kind enough to walk me through everything I need to do to get a Magnums Weapon set in a Goldeneye Rom that would be awesome. I think a magnums only tournament would be a great idea, so I want to give it a chance.

| Go to Multiplayer tab of 21990. Choose weapon set you want to replace in bottom right. Go through weapons #00 to 07 and edit the Weapon, Weapon Image, and ammo/size as appropriate. Click Write ROM. Should be it. |

I go to tools>21990 GE Modification and get an error message. I haven't used the editor in a while but don't I have to open an uncompressed file before I do anything? Or some other sort of file?

Thank you 00action! That seemed to have been the problem. I followed Sub's instructions but came across a problem. After I was done modifying everything I clicked "Write Rom with 21990 Mods". I named the rom GEmagnums.rom , clicked save and I got 2 error messages. The first says "Cannot write temporary file" the second one reads "Error on opening compressed file". Any solution? Thanks Sub and 00action!

| Do you have gzip in folder? Running as admin? Also click delete debug data before writing ROM too. Try setting the local folder in preferences as well to main editor. |
