The problem is as mentioned from the title; I wanted to test out the German language patch that DF Ank1 translated. Everything seems to be in place but as I enter a mission, the frame rate drops from 60 FPS to 3 FPS. DF Ank1 patch is actually a XDelta file but it is the same. Before I made any conclusion that it was a fault of the patch, I tried the French patch and saw the same thing happen.

I believe that I am using the most recent Goldeneye Setup Editor, 2.4: I followed the tutorials description as it is clearly instructed what to do.

I am using Project 64 1.7 as the emulator and I have tried using two USA roms.

Any help would be appreciated.

edit:
Thank you everybody.

I dont think anyone here is a "beta" tester for PJ64

Try it on 1.6.

Check Faq on GoldenEye vault - you need to edit rom settings.

According to my actual GoldenEye ROM on PJ64, it's ON. Perfect Dark, however, has it set to OFF. Not sure what consequences it could have on the game if you're using the wrong setting.

@ Subdrag
Unbelievable that I missed that in the FAQ by an inch - sorry about that... -_-

Jes indeed, Wreck, all of those settings were exactly what I need to make things work normally.

The next problem I have seen is that my screen is no longer "wide". Is the resolution change during the rom conversion?

It's a different ROM name so lost your save. Have to reset that.

Actually it is the same save and I am able to use both a regular rom or the modded rom with one save.

With all of my ROMs am I able to have a full screen on my screen. For some reason my German enhanced rom will not make a wide screen.. =/
