trying to understand importing midis

yeah, I followed the tutorial on goldeneyevault,wanted to change dam main theme(as in the example), clicked replace midi, clicked the midi, and next the whole program crashed, "stopped working" Sad
i think the midi might be not usable for GE. if that's the problem, could someone then post a usable(used before) midi here?
if the problem is different, please explain.

It's pretty easy to do as you've seen. Try though, exporting midi from editor, then reimporting, see if crashes. And you can post midi too for me to try if want.

okay that worked, I can swap tracks this way. ehm, I can't find the midi anymore, so please post a non GE midi here that should work Smile

Heh well find me one that doesn't. They should work, or report error.

Haha, I think it was a glitch when I tried the first time.
Yes, it worked! Only small remark, the track gets completely different Smile but i'm happy it worked!

In a MIDI editor, you'll need to change all the instruments to suit the instrument numbers of the instruments in Goldeneye, so you can try and get it sounding remotely correct.
