Frigate seems so small from the inside, but holy smokes it's huge! |

Seems like I've been tardy in hanging around the forum! Flick me a pm and I'll send through the origional obj files that I used to make the clipping of the island.
In all honesty I found working with the Dam level to be brutal and exceedingly difficult - in your current case I'd almost be inclined to rebuild it as a totally new level and break things up into their own rooms.
Ladders like the one on the island are very very tricky and I had to spend ages playing with little things to get it to actually operate properly - still it doesn't operate well.
I'll be any assistance I can, I've a thing for the Dam level _________________ No Mr. Bond, I expect you to be re-coded! |

Yes Kane! Please that would be amazing! BMW you Have to release that Frigate level! Dewd that's f*cking awesome!!!
Just have to tinker with the clipping on the Island. Was able to get everything to work really well with Subs custom editor features. Stan convert and redo clipping connections are actually fairly accurate and work well cleaning up manual edits. . Can't believe I got sucked into another complex project but I've always thought the island was a worthy extended multi map. If anyone can help me adjust the few clipping spots left let me know. I'm not sure I quite understand how to move clipping accurately. Lol. I looked at how you did peaches castle So but I couldn't figure out how to rotate the order of the clipping counterclockwise. Clipping on redo clipping connections should automatically be the correct clockwise, except on vertical ladders I think, it may mess up badly there. |

Well thanks Gamma . Honestly I just didnt have the heart to completely retire from GoldenEye or Perfect Dark. These games are the FOUNDATION of Fps if you ask me and paved the path for Halo and call of duty. Without these games I don't think call of duty or it's predecessors would have come forth near as soon. Let us NEVER forget that these games are LEGENDS and literally are a part of our cultural history both in gaming and entertainment. . There is so much left that we could do to these games and maybe it will inspire game companies to get back to the "HEART" of game design.
Please be patient with me though. . I do have to slow down a bit due to screenwriting and movie production. I will be very busy preparing a film for a festival as well as dedicating over a years time to some MASSIVE storytelling. Since I'm stuck at home I can really get these films written. . Thanks again bro! MultiX.
Btw: my real name is Scott. I go by either one to those of you that treat me like a friend. . Peace!!! _________________

Man..... Sub this editor crashing while I'm in the middle of converting clipping connections is killing me. Any plans for some bug fixes on this. It's so bad I just about want to kill myself lol _________________

I just eased off on multitasking visual editor seems to get pissed off at you when doing multiple windows functions . no offense bro I just slowed my workflow _________________

hmmmmm that would be interesting I'm not having ANY luck with the editors clipping functions. I'll have to learn Hammer I guess and model it because nothing seems to connect just right all the time and ladders are unusable. _________________
